This plant likes intermediate to cooler temps but will tolerate some heat in summer. The flowers usually emerge in the spring, but we have also seen them in the fall once things cool down. 

Coelia triptera likes full sun. Plant it in a place with plenty of light, but not direct sunlight. Provide it more than 6 hours of sunlight per day. Remember that insufficient light results in poor quality and may lead to reduced or no blooms. This is for a flowering size plant. Flowers Spring!
